Five players will tee it up on the Challenge Tour next season after graduating from the Clutch Pro Tour and the Tartan Pro Tour respectively.
English trio Callan Barrow, Gary King and Ryan Evans all earned promotion through the Clutch Pro Tour after they ended the year occupying the top three spots on the season-long Order of Merit.
Barrow, who played a full season on the Challenge Tour in 2022 after earning playing privileges at Final Stage Qualifying School, returns to the Challenge Tour after finishing in pole position on the Order of Merit thanks to two wins and five other top tens during the season.
The 27-year-old made the cut in all 15 starts, with the second of his victories coming in the season-ending Tour Championship at Royal Norwich, helping him to reach 1,969 points.
King ended the year second on the Order of Merit with 1,729 points following a victory – which came in the Brocket Hall Masters – and seven other top tens, including four in his final four starts of the campaign.
The Englishman won on the Challenge Tour in 2016 in the Montecchia Open by Lyoness in 2016 and has teed it up on 71 different occasions since making his first start in 2013.
Evans also returns to the Challenge Tour as a former winner, with his sole victory to date coming in 2017 in the Turkish Airlines Challenge.
The 37-year-old won twice on the Clutch Pro Tour in 2024 to take the last available promotion place with 1,702 points.
Two players will join them from the Tartan Pro Tour, with Scotland’s Graeme Robertson and Sam Locke finishing first and second on the Order of Merit respectively.
Robertson was in fine form throughout 2024, amassing 28,792 points in just 12 starts to end the year top of the pile.
The 36-year-old won twice, with his victories coming in the MacDonald Spey Valley Masters presented by The Mackay Clinic and the Ladybank Masters presented by Piper Sandler, and recorded five second place finishes to guarantee promotion.
The Scot made his debut on the PGA TOUR in November at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship after winning the Gosling Invitational to qualify for the event.
Locke also impressed to finish second on the Order of Merit with 20,779 points, 7,400 points clear of his nearest challenger.
The 26-year-old will tee it up in his first full season on the Challenge Tour in 2025 after picking up three wins during the calendar year, of which two came in back-to-back weeks in May.
