Everything you need to know from the second day at Fairmont St Andrews.
Sean kept his nose in front, while Wilco and Ewen became the proud co-owners of the course record after signing for spotless 61s on day two of the 2022 Hero Open.
Here is everything you need to know from the second day at Fairmont St Andrews.
Jamieson keeps his card clean again
Home favourite Scott Jamieson added a 64 to Thursday's 66 to head into the weekend with no bogeys in his first 36 holes. He carded four birdies on each nine on Friday to get to 14 under par and sit one shot behind halfway leader Sean Crocker. He said: "I’ve been really good tee to green. Yesterday was a good start, I would never turn my nose up at six under but it felt like I’d left a lot out there. Today was better, I took advantage of some chances."
Long's miraculous three
After very nearly sending his tee-shot at the 16th straight into a bush, Hurly Long did superbly to find the front edge of the green in two with this beauty...
"That's amazing. That's an outstanding shot!" 🙌

He then went and holed his lengthy putt to walk away from there with a birdie!
Crocker maintains one-shot lead
Crocker took advantage of favourable early scoring conditions on day two, carding a sparkling 66 to keep his one-stroke lead intact heading into the weekend. He said: "It’s always tough to come back out the next day after playing really well. It was a little bit calming and nice to get out there, get off to a decent start, and just keep plodding along through the golf course."
Defending champion Forrest uses the wall
Battling to make the cut in the closing stages of his round, last year's winner Grant Forrest could not afford to make late bogeys. So when his tee-shot at the 17th landed up against a wall, he had a big decision to make. The Scot opted to play his second shot off the wall and managed to send his ball 18 feet from the hole before slotting home the par putt for a stunning three. He would go on to finish on six under, just on the right side of the cut line.
