Fundraising efforts at Castle Stuart Golf Links last week saw more than £30,000 raised for Action for Children, Scotland, the Official Charity of The 2011 Barclays Scottish Open.
Despite Mother Nature’s best efforts to put a dampener on proceedings, the Barclays Charity Birdie Pledge saw over £16,000 donated to Action for Children – Scotland by Barclays Capital during the first two rounds of the Barclays Scottish Open.

Luke Donald’s glorious 2011 continued as he made the Barclays Scottish Open his third title of the year.
European Tour Chief Executive George O’Grady welcomed Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond to the final day of the Barclays Scottish Open at Castle Stuart.
