The European Swing returns this week as we head to Belgium for the Soudal Open, here is all that players of the DP World Tour's official fantasy game need to know.
Golf's Global Tour is back in Europe for Belgium's national open, an event which was first played in 1910 and made a welcome return to the DP World Tour schedule in 2018 and then in 2022.
It is the second event of six on the European Swing, with the player who tops the Swing earning entry into all of the events in Phase Two of the Race to Dubai - the Back 9 - and a $US200,000 bonus.
Nacho Elvira defends the title after claiming a second DP World Tour crown last season, with Rinkven International Golf Club playing host for the sixth consecutive edition.
Last year's runner-up Thomas Pieters is looking to go one better this week and he tees it up alongside fellow local hero Nicolas Colsaerts and a host of rising Belgian talent including Matthis Besard.
From insight into the week’s most-picked players among Fantasy managers, to our ones to watch, we run the rule ahead of Thursday’s deadline to pick your team.
Who are the most backed players?
It is an incredibly packed list in terms of selection this week, wiith less than 10% separating the top five players chosen.
Turkish Airlines Open champion Martin Couvra features in 38% of teams, just ahead of Jordan Smith, who tees it up fresh off getting through U.S. Open Qualifying on Monday.
Jorge Campillo is then on 31%, the same mark as Haotong Li.
Who are our ones to watch?
Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.
Favourite - Jordan Smith
While he is neck and neck with Pieters for the bookmakers, Smith has the edge for us due to his form in recent weeks and indeed this week. One of the DP World Tour's most consistent performers over many years, it is said by some that he should have more than his two wins on golf's Global Tour and this week could provide him with an excellent chance to add to his tally. He had his best result of the season last month when he was runner-up at the Volvo China Open and he followed that with a top ten at the Turkish Airlines Open. He then topped the leaderboard over 36 holes at Walton Heath on Monday to earn a place at the U.S. Open and will arrive in Belgium full of confidence.
Form Horse - Martin Couvra
It may seem obvious to have the Swing's last winner as our Form Horse but sometimes things are obvious for a reason. In just 15 DP World Tour starts - 12 of those coming this season after his graduation from the HotelPlanner Tour, the Frenchman has four top tens to go with his victory last time out at the Turkish Airlines Open. His win in Antalya followed a top five in China and means he has now recorded top tens on four different continents. The 22-year-old was an easy going character before he claimed a win, so will a victory relieve pressure or increase expectation? We think he will take it in his stride either way.
Wild Card - Matthew Southgate
Could it finally, finally be Southgate's time? He is without full playing privileges for the first time since 2015 but is making the most of his opportunities, with six made cuts from nine starts having him on target to get back on Tour. His best result of the season to date came earlier this month in Turkey as he finished in a tie for fifth and encouragingly, he has two previous top tens at Rinkven. He has four runner-up finishes on the DP World Tour, with the last of those coming in 2023 when he also finished fourth here. A man playing for his livelihood with momentum on a happy hunting ground is a man to watch.

Looking back - US PGA Championship
Our Form Horse Scottie Scheffler maintained his fantastic form, making it back-to-back wins as he claimed a third Major Championship. That was excellent news for the over 17,000 players (55.27%) who won 211 points for selecting him and the 6,439 players who had him as Captain.
Our Wild Card Ryan Fox enjoyed a productive week as he acclimatises to regular Major golf with a top 30, while Favourite Rory McIlroy struggled a little by his astronomical standards, finishing in a tie for 47th.
