With the U.S. Open upon us, here is all that players of the DP World Tour's official fantasy game need to know.
Major season continues this week at Oakmont Country Club, which is hosting the United States Golf Association's premier event for a tenth time, three times more than any other venue.
From a record 10,202 entries from across 80 countries, a field of 156 players will tee it up to contest the 125th U.S. Open.
Almost a month on from winning his second Major Championship, World Number One Scottie Scheffler arrives in Pennsylvania as both the hot favourite and the in-form player having also successfully defended his title at The Memorial Tournament Presented by Workday last month.
But the American will face a stiff challenge if he is to move a step nearer to a career Grand Slam as the world's best - including nine DP World Tour members in the top 20 on the Official World Golf Ranking - bid to fulfil their own dreams on the Major stage.
Bryson DeChambeau is the defending champion after he won his second U.S. Open - four years after his first at Winged Foot - to become a two-time Major winner 12 months ago.
From insight into the week’s most-picked players among Fantasy managers, to our ones to watch, we run the rule ahead of Thursday’s deadline to pick your team.
Who are the most backed players?
Scheffler is top of the world rankings for a reason and as such it is little surprise that he is the most-picked player among our Fantasy players, featuring in 83% of team selections.
Defending champion DeChambeau is next at 67% as he goes in search of a third U.S. Open title, with Ludvig Åberg third at 45% after holding the 36-hole lead on debut last year.
Xander Schauffele is just behind in fourth at 40% and Rory McIlroy rounds out the top five at 37%.
Who are our ones to watch?
Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.
Favourite - Scottie Scheffler
The American - the dominant force in world golf over the last three years - is looking peerless and hungry for more titles. Such is his form, he is earning comparisons with Tiger Woods in his pomp. With his victory on the PGA TOUR at The Memorial earlier this month, he became the first player since Woods to be a repeat winner of the Jack Nicklaus-hosted event. Since his start of the year, delayed by a hand injury, he has not missed a cut in 12 starts and won three titles, including his third Major triumph in last month's US PGA Championship at Quail Hollow. Interestingly, it was at Oakmont that he made his U.S. Open debut as the then amateur sat in a tie for fourth after the opening day before going on to miss the cut. It's been quite the journey since...
Form Horse - Sepp Straka
While Scheffler fits the bill for both Form Horse and Favourite, it's only right we spotlight someone else and who better than the two-time PGA TOUR winner so far this season from Austria. Since the turn of the year, he has missed just three cuts and finished no worse than a tie for 30th when making the weekend. Either side of victories at The American Express in January and the Truist Championship in May, he has registered three further top tens. As such, he seems a near certainty to make his second Ryder Cup appearance for Team Europe later this year at Bethpage. One source of frustration, however, will be that he has missed the cut at the year's opening two Majors, but such is the momentum he has built the 32-year-old will hope to put that right this week.
Wild Card - Guido Migliozzi
It was on his Major debut at the U.S. Open in 2021 that the Italian made quite the impression, finishing tied for fourth at Torrey Pines after a final-round 68. On his return 12 months later at The Country Club in Brookline, he saved his best to last as a closing 66 saw him finish in a tie for 14th. By then, he was already a two-time winner on the DP World Tour but he has since added two further titles in national opens in France and the Netherlands. While has has missed six cuts so far this season - the latest of which came last week on his title defence at the KLM Open - he earned his place this week through Final Qualifying at Walton Heath and seems to relish the challenge posed at U.S. Opens.

Looking back - KLM Open
Connor Syme continued the trend of first-time DP World Tour winners during the European Swing, rewarding the 620 Fantasy players (1.96% of users) as they picked up 193 points. Of those, just eight selected him as their Captain, earning 193 points.
Our Form Horse Kristoffer Reitan enjoyed another productive week, with a closing 68 lifting him into a tie for 13th, while our Wild Card Marcus Kinhult struggled over the weekend in the challenging conditions to finish 73rd. Our Favourite Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen missed the cut.
