Kicking off two weeks in South Africa to round out the International Swing, we head to the Western Cape for our third outing of the season in the Rainbow Nation.

Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World leader Patrick Reed has already wrapped up the International Swing but goes in search of a third win in his last four starts as he tees it up in his 20th country on the DP World Tour.

Jayden Schaper is also a two-time winner on the 2026 season and he will lead the home charge alongside last week's winner Casey Jarvis and defending champion Dylan Naidoo.

The South African contigent also contains Major Champions Ernie Els and Charl Schwartzel, a host of multiple DP World Tour winners including Thriston Lawrence, last week's HotelPlanner Tour winner Oliver Bekker and impressive rookie Michael Hollick.

From insight into the week’s most-picked players among Fantasy managers, to our ones to watch, we run the rule ahead of Thursday’s deadline to pick your team.

Who are the most picked players?

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the in-form Reed is the most picked player this week featuring in 71% of teams, almost 20% clear of nearest rival Schaper.

Lawrence is then on 38% ahead of Spaniard Angel Ayora and Dane Jacob Skov Olesen.

Who are our ones to watch?

Favourite - Patrick Reed

The highest-ranked player in the field, the International Swing champion and the Race to Dubai leader are one and the same - Reed. On that basis, it is easy to see why he is the favourite this week. After his win at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, he finished second in Bahrain after a play-off and then won again in Qatar before taking a two-week break. He now makes his first career start on South African soil as he looks to add a national open to a CV that already contains Major, World Golf Championships and Ryder Cup glory. If he maintains anything like his current form across the season, he could also be adding a Harry Vardon Trophy.

Form Horse - Jacob Skov Olesen

In fairness, there are plenty of contenders for this slot this week including our Favourite and Wild Card but we have opted for the rising Dane. The first ever Danish winner of The Amateur Championship, he has been in the paid ranks for little over 12 months but in that time he has made quite an impact. After coming through the Qualifying School, he sealed six top tens in his maiden DP World Tour season, playing his way into the season-ending DP World Tour Championship at the first time of asking. He equalled his best career result as he finished third in Qatar and followed that up with a top five in Kenya, meaning he has three top tens in seven starts as a professional on African soil. One of the most relaxed characters on Tour, his time will surely come soon.

Wild Card - Hennie Otto

One of just three players along with Ernie Els and Jean Hugo who were in the field the last time this event was played in Stellenbosch in 1999, the 49-year-old is proving he can still mix it with the young guns. A three-time DP World Tour winner, his last victory was in 2014 and he last held a full card in 2016 but he has two Sunshine Tour wins since then. He finished fifth at Stellenbosch 27 years ago and in his last three starts on the HotelPlanner Tour has lost in a play-off and achieved two top tens. He will become eligible for seniors golf in June but one last lap of glory before heading that way cannot be ruled out.

Looking back - Magical Kenya Open presented by absa

Casey Jarvis' breakthrough win at Karen Country Club was a popular one for the fairly healthy 5.8% of players that selected him, with 1,482 of you taking home 274 points.

Our Favourite Ayora finished in the top ten with Wild Card and first-round leader after a 62 Niklas Lemke eventually settling for a share of 34th. Our Form Horse Calum Hill could not maintain his recent momentum and missed the cut.
