Asian Swing Show rewards fans with must-win prizes as DP World Tour winner makes guest appearance

With its informative, immersive and fun format, the Asian Swing Show Delivered by DP World brought fans closer to the action.

Introduced for the first time in November, the virtual live show is a regular feature this season on the DP World Tour.

Joined by David Howell, the leading appearance holder of all time on the DP World Tour, regular host George Harper Jnr previewed the third of five Global Swings on the 2026 Race to Dubai schedule and reviewed the busy stretch of action during the International Swing.

There was also a special guest appearance from DP World Tour winner Connor Syme as he took some time off after a busy start to the year.

“Having a family at home, travel does definitely become difficult,” said Syme, who is set to return to action at next month’s Volvo China Open.

“The joy is pretty easy to come by from a golf sense, but I do have a lot of admiration for people who have done it for a long time.

“I think this is my ninth or tenth year as a pro but guys who have been able to do it for 20, 30 years or even longer is so impressive to keep the results that consistent for such a long period of time.

“So, I am trying to pick people’s brains when I can. The motivation is always there; you always want to try and get better and hopefully I can be one of those guys that we talk about in the future that has been on Tour for a long time.”

There was also a look ahead to the first men’s Major Championship of the year – the Masters Tournament – with Rory McIlroy set to defend at Augusta National.

Could he win the Green Jacket for a second year in a row?

“It’s going to be special for one man in particular,” said Howell.

“Rory going back, not with the weight of the world on his shoulders but finally going back as a champion. It’s going to be all different for him.

“I hope he really enjoys the week. That is probably going to be his best chance of defending. He will want to do that, of course he will want to put on a good show.

“When it gets down to business on Thursday, he’ll be thinking ‘let’s defend this title, let’s keep the jacket on my shoulders’.

“This hopefully will be his most enjoyable one because he has done it… he can thoroughly enjoy playing golf at Augusta and that should bring the best out of him.”

Interspersed with questions from fans, there were also a series of must-win prizes up for grabs in a live quiz – highlighted by tickets to the Turkish Airlines Open and a £1,000 contribution towards flights and accommodation.
