Paul Casey and Anthony Wall wasted little time catching overnight leaders Graeme Storm and Richard Green when the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship third round began.
Storm and Green, round in 64 and 65 yesterday, both kicked off in exactly the way they hoped with birdies on the 405 yard opener.
But 2007 winner Casey, playing alongside them, also made three and he was the only one of the trio to birdie the 600 yard next.
Londoner Wall, meanwhile, picked up strokes on the second and third to move to 12 under par as well.
Three birdies in the first four holes brought South African Louis Oosthuizen only one behind and then came 19 year old Rory McIlroy and 20 year old Oliver Fisher on ten under.
The Open Championship and US PGA Championship winner Padraig Harrington, having finished his second round in near darkness with two birdies, had two more in the first five to be nine under.
