With the first Major of the season upon us the Fantasy Race to Dubai really kicks into gear, and it is still not too late to enter the competition for your chance to win a luxury trip to Dubai.
The rules of the competition, which is free to enter, are very straightforward: simply pick a team of 15 players, and if your team earns the most money come the end of this season, you and a friend could be enjoying business class flights to Dubai, five nights’ stay in a five-star hotel and 18 holes at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
There is a twist, however: a player’s earnings only count if he finishes in the top 15 of The Race to Dubai – so if he finishes 16th or below, you win nothing!
Throughout the course of the season you are allowed to make as many changes to your team as you like, but be warned: you will automatically lose any money gained by the player you have transferred out, and the new player’s earnings will only count from the time you put him into your team.
To add a further competitive edge, you can also set up a private league amongst you and your friends to see who ends the season as the top dog.
On the overall leaderboard, prizes are also available for second to fifth place (a set of Titleist irons and a bag), sixth to tenth place (a Titleist driver) and 11th to 20th place (a year’s supply of Titleist golf balls).
