Nino Bertasio held a two-shot lead over local favourite Joost Luiten as the third round of the KLM Open moved towards its conclusion at The Dutch.
Both players came into round three a shot behind overnight leader Bernd Wiesberger but while the Austrian dropped a shot on Saturday afternoon, Bertasio and Luiten moved ahead.
The Italian made an eagle and two birdies in his first ten holes to get to 13 under, while Luiten had two birdies on his front nine to remain bogey free for the week.
South African Brandon Stone set the clubhouse target at ten under with a stunning 63, with Scott Hend also at that mark through ten holes.
Two birdies in his last three holes on Friday had moved Luiten to within touching distance and he gave the home crowd something to cheer about early with a 15-footer on the first to move to the top of the leaderboard alongside Wiesberger.
Rookie Bertasio then made it a three-way tie at the top as he birdied the par three fourth hole for the third time this week and he was soon out in front on his own.
The 28 year old put his approach on the par five sixth to 12 feet and rolled in the eagle putt to make it four shots gained on that hole this week and take a two-shot lead.
Luiten would not let him get away, though, and he put his tee-shot on the par three eighth to two feet to move to 11 under, with Wiesberger bogeying the next.
Bertasio responded in perfect fashion, rolling in a 30-footer on the tenth for a second birdie of the day to re-establish his two-shot cushion.
Stone fired the low round of the week as he picked up birdies on the first, third, fourth, seventh, tenth, 14th, 15th and 17th.
Hend - beaten in a play-off last week in Switzerland - bogeyed the second but then picked up shots on the third, fifth, sixth and eighth.
Wiesberger was then at nine under alongside American Daniel Im, Spaniard Alejandro Cañizares and English duo Richard Bland and David Horsey.
