Alejandro Cañizares overcame a shaky start to retain his six shot advantage as the final round of the Trophée Hasan II began in Agadir.
Having surged clear of Seve Benson with his third round 69 at Golf du Palais Royal, Cañizares saved par from six feet at the first but could not repeat the trick from eight feet at the next.
However, the 31 year old – who won his first European Tour title on only his third start in 2006 but has gone 198 events without adding to his haul – birdied the long fifth after a superb pitch to six feet.
That brought him back to 17 under and six ahead of England’s Benson, who set off with five straight pars.
Swede Magnus A Carlsson, Dutchman Robert-Jan Derksen and Australian Wade Ormsby were tied for third on ten under par.
Cañizares’ produced another excellent approach to the ninth and tapped in for birdie, and that left him seven clear of not only Benson – who bogeyed the eighth after three-putting but got the shot back at the next – but also Carlsson and Australian Wade Ormsby.
England's Andy Sullivan had moved into second place on 14 under, a front nine of 34 followed by storming inward 29 that featured seven birdies.
Cabrera-Bello, Carlsson, Ormsby, Richard Bland and Benson were a further three shots back, with the Spaniard the only one to have reached the clubhouse.
