Feel closer to the action on the DP World Tour by competing against golf fans from around the world in our official Fantasy game as the International Swing on the 2024 Race to Dubai continues with the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

Following his victory last week in Bahrain, three-time DP World Tour winner Dylan Frittelli tees it up at Doha Golf Club for the first time since 2017.

Pablo Larrazábal, who has two top tens at this week's venue in his successful career, Rasmus Højgaard and Yannik Paul are also among those in action in the Middle East before the Tour pauses for a one-week break.

There are eight past champions of this event in the field, including 2013 champion Chris Wood who is making his first DP World Tour appearance since the 2022 Portugal Masters.

If you have not done so already, you can sign up to play the official 2024 DP World Tour Fantasy game and submit your six-man team before round one gets under way on Thursday: https://fantasy.dpworldtour.com/

Fantasy Insight: As it stands, Zander Lombard is the favourite for players of our Fantasy Game this week, featuring in 62% of teams. Other popular players include Rasmus Højgaard (56%) and Swede Sebastian Söderberg (49%).

Yannik Paul, who has two top 10s so far this year, is the fourth most picked player, featuring in 29% of Fantasy teams.

Last week's champion Dylan Frittelli features in only 13% of teams so far this week.

Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.

Favourite - Rasmus Højgaard

The Dane has scored the most Fantasy points of any player with 687, averaging 172 for each event and tees it up in Qatar inside the top ten on the Race to Dubai.

Højgaard continued his stellar start to the year with a tie for eighth in Bahrain as he climbed to 68th in the Official World Golf Ranking.

As if his consistent form wasn't enough to go by, the 22-year-old showed a liking for the Doha Golf Club layout on his debut last year as he recorded four rounds in the red to finish in a tie for 16th.

Form horse - Aaron Cockerill

While Zander Lombard is arguably the standout player for consistent performances and rightfully been highlighted in this feature already this year, we’re opting to highlight another in-form player this week in Cockerill.

Across his six appearances so far this season, the Canadian has finished no worse than in a tie for 32nd and registered two top tens - the latest of which came last week in Bahrain.

But it is perhaps his tie for fourth at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic last month on the Rolex Series stage that highlights the progress he is making with his game.

After a runner-up finish last season in Japan, can he capitalise on his form and claim his maiden DP World Tour title?

Wild card - Darren Fichardt

Since regaining his DP World Tour card at the final stage of Qualifying School last year, the experienced South African has finished in the top ten twice.

Both of those events came before the festive break and the 48-year-old has since been able to match those high standards in Ras Al Khaimah and Bahrain.

But with a winning record at this week's venue, having lifted the Mother of Pearl trophy more than two decades ago in 2003, could those memories inspire the five-time DP World Tour winner to mount a title challenge?

Looking back – Bahrain Championship presented by Bapco Energies

Dylan Frittelli won his third DP World Tour title in his 115th appearance and first for six years and 63 days in the Kingdom of Bahrain last week.

The South African was selected in only 1.42% of teams and is this year's most successful 'hidden gem' in the Fantasy game.

Last week's Favourite Rasmus Højgaard, featuring in 58% of teams, finished just outside the Team of the Week with 151 points.

Both our Form Horse Alex Fitzpatrick and Wild Card Stephen Gallacher missed the cut at Royal Golf Club.

Frederic Lacroix continued his strong run of form, picking up 176 points. The Frenchman's results have not gone unnoticed with Fantasy players as his popularity increased to 9% this week from just 1% last time out.
