Course Details
All around the course at Golf Costa Adeje beautiful views of the sea and mountains can be enjoyed. Unusually the course contains 6 par 5's, 6 par 3'2 and 6 par 4's and also unusually the bunker sand is black volcanic sand.
Course Layout
The course is expected to be open to good scoring as all par 5's are reachable in two. The rough is sparse as the Bermuda grass was dormant until two weeks prior to the tournament
Tees, Fairways and Rough
Tees: Bermuda overseeded with penncross cut to 8mm
Fairways: Bermuda and Poa Annua cut to 8mm.
Rough: Bermuda and Poa Annua cut to 20mm.
Semi-Rough: Bermuda and Poa Annua cut to 65mm.
Greens
Greens: Penn Cross Bent cut at 3mm. Greens were running at 8.6 on the stimp on Monday, hoping to get to 10 for start of tournament.
