Course Details
Dense rough around the Barsebäck Golf Course will reward accuracy from the tee. Recent rainfall will mean length is more of a factor.
Course Layout
Several modifications have been made since the tournament was last played at Barsebäck. The first hole is now a much longer par 4 whilst hole 9 has changed from a par 4 to a 5 with a new tee and additional fairway bunkers. HOle 11 has also changed from a par 4 down to 3 with the addition of a new tee.
Tees and Fairways
Tees: Red Fescue, Colonial Bent, Poa Annua; Fairways: Poa Annua, Colonial Bent cut @ 9mm. Fairways are of an average width.
Greens
Greens: Penn A-4. All 18 greens were re-laid in April with Penn A-4. They were also remodelled and are not as large as before. Cut @ 3mm and single rolled.
Rough
Rough: Poa Annua, Colonial Bent & Rye Grass; Rough 90mm, secondary rough 64mm, semi 35mm.
