Day 3 in Numbers: KLM Open

1– shot lead for Scott Hend going into the final round, which is the same situation the Australian found himself in last week after three days of the Omega European Masters.

327– yards, was the average drive for Hend on moving day at The Dutch as he posted a 14 under par score.

8– under par for the par fives, the big-hitting two-time European Tour winner has taken full advantage of the longer holes.

31- under par for Hend in his last seven rounds.

204– the low 54-hole score for Nino Bertasio on the European Tour before this week was 204 (-6) – the Italian has taken just 200 shots and is 13 under heading into round four here.

51– holes without a bogey for Joost Luiten before the home favourite dropped a shot at the par three 16th hole.

44– greens in regulation found for the Dutchman so far this week – he’s just three back heading into the final round.

7– consecutive rounds in the 60s for Richard Bland, who shot four rounds in the 60s in Switzerland last week, before carding 67, 69 and 66 here in the Netherlands this week.

21– Dave Horsey has played some fine, attacking golf this week and has been rewarded with 21 birdies, the most of any man in the field.

37– places Brandon Stone climbed on the leaderboard after his low round of the week 63.

11- the 486-yard par four played the hardest, averaging 4.35.

6- the par five sixth hole played the easiest on day three, with six eagles, 41 birdies, 25 pars and no dropped shots being made.
