Louis led the way, the bullet made an impact, and there were some interesting guests on the putting green on day three of the South African Open hosted by the City of Johannesburg.

Here is everything you need to know from Moving Day at Randpark Golf Club.

King Louis leads the way

With Ernie Els turning 50 last year, Louis Oosthuizen has become the flagbearer for South African golf in 2020 and he has certainly not let the home crowds down this week. The defending champion carded seven birdies in a brilliant bogey free 64 on day three to get to 15 under and lead the way by one shot from Marcus Armitage. As well as those birdies there were also some incredible par saves but more on that later...........

        The bullet bites back

Armitage has been a very popular figure on the European Challenge Tour in recent seasons and everyone was delighted to see him regain his European Tour card at the Qualifying School. The larger than life character has embraced his nickname of 'the bullet' and won many fans when posting this video after his closing 83 last month at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

On Saturday, he went 21 shots better than that in an effort that would have set a new course record on the Firethorn had preferred lies not been in place and outside of maybe the home favourites, there would not be a more popular winner on Sunday.

              Harry Loudini

We mentioned earlier that Oosthuizen made some impressive par saves - well just look at these. The scrambling of a champion?

              A game of inches

CJ du Plessis made two eagles on Saturday and this is how close he was to a third. Ouch.

              Albatross, eagle, peacock?

This guy had more strut than Poults and Miguel combined on the putting green.
