Molinari hoping for Moliwood reunion at Wentworth

Good friends and Ryder Cup partners Tommy Fleetwood and Francesco Molinari played together on Thursday and Friday in Rome, with the Englishman saying "there is probably not another golfer out here that I feel as comfortable with playing so that does add to the ease of playing tournament golf". And local favourite Molinari hopes the duo get to tee it up together again at next week's BMW PGA CHAMPIONSHIP when it will be Fleetwood who has home hero status.

All good things must come to an end

After his fine finish at last week's Omega European Masters and brilliant start here in Rome, Stenson came into his second round without a bogey in 39 holes. Two birdies and four pars over the opening six holes on Friday extended that run to a whopping 45 holes but it would end at the par three seventh after he missed the green with his tee shot and failed to get up and down. What a run from the in form Swede.
