Everything you need to know from day two at Golf Santa Ponsa.
Bryce bounded clear, Laurie and Thomas were best buds, Joost was finding joy at the darts and the hole outs were.....well, you'll see, in the second round of the 2021 Mallorca Golf Open.
Here is everything you need to know from Friday in the Balearic Islands.
Easton heads north on the leaderboard
Bryce Easton carded an opening 63 but Golf Santa Ponsa I was a very different test on day two due to some very high winds. That made the South African's five birdies and single bogey in his 17 holes before the light disappeared all the more remarkable. He was 11 under and four shots clear when he walked off and understandably delighted with his work. "Lovely day, made it look a bit more difficult for myself on the back nine, had to grind out a few par saves," he said. "I played the front nine lovely, managed to hang in. Tough coming in at the end there. Obviously getting dark. Overall, very happy with how today went, happy with where I am."
Laurie's lucky charm
On a day when the wind blew and scoring was far more difficult than in round one, Laurie Canter carded six birdies on his way to a 66. Was a signed glove from playing partner Thomas Pieters the key?

Probably not.
Mansell gives going low new meaning
What's the opposite of the aerial route? Not sure this shot ever got more than four feet off the ground and it's not often you say that about a lengthy chip-in. Well played Richard Mansell.

Luiten on board with the darts
Joost Luiten is one of the Netherlands' most successful sportspeople but his friend Michael van Gerwen may be a bigger name in his homeland. The darts superstar has been dominant on the oche in recent years and Luiten revealed in a second round on course interview that he is big fan of a tungsten tussle. "I know Michael, I've seen a couple of games," he said. "It's a big sport in Holland, we have some good players so I always like watching it but it's more fun to go to the actual games and have a drink and sing a bit." Maybe we'll see Joost on the benches at the Ally Pally in a few weeks.
Going Dutch
Speaking of the Netherlands, Oliver Fisher looked to be channelling his inner Dutchman with his shirt choice on Friday.
Big bird for Otaegui
There are few things better than holing out from the fairway for eagle on a par four and Adrian Otaegui did just that on the fourth. Then on the 16th he holed out again. Take a bow.
Putters are overrated, right @adrianotaegui? 😉#MallorcaGolfOpen pic.twitter.com/tWpeSZLJHD
