DID YOU KNOW ? – JAZZTEL OPEN DE ESPAÑA EN ANDALUCIA

Dale Hayes of South Africa and the Jazztel Open de España en Andalucia are well linked. As an 18 year old in 1971 he played his first event in Europe and won. His victory entered The European Tour record books on two counts.

Aged 18 and 290 days, Hayes became the youngest winner on The European – a record which still stands. Here is the list of youngest European Tour winners:
