While the focus of the world of golf is on the British Isles over the next two weeks, some players from the DP World Tour are preparing themselves for a double-header in the United States on the PGA TOUR.
Held in parallel with the Genesis Scottish Open this week, the ISCO Championship will feature a field of PGA TOUR and DP World Tour members as part of the Strategic Alliance between both tours.
For those players not exempt into the second Rolex Series event of the Race to Dubai season, opportunity beckons stateside.
Fifty DP World Tour members, featuring a mix of seasoned stars and emerging talent from the HotelPlanner Tour and Qualifying School, will tee it up at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
Last year, the tournament was won by England's Harry Hall, who subsequently took up DP World Tour membership and recently came through qualifying to secure his Open Championship debut next week.
Among the previous winners are also Sweden's Vincent Norrman, who is in action in Scotland, and Séamus Power of Ireland.
After nine editions at Keene Trace Golf Club, this is the first to be staged at Hurstbourne Country Club.
At both the ISCO Championship and next week's Barracuda Championship, which runs in parallel to The 153rd Open, on the Closing Swing, players from both sides of the Atlantic are vying for a US$4 million purse.
The tournament represents one of the last chances for players to earn FedExCup points for the fast-approaching Playoffs.
The winner will also be exempt on both Tours through 2027 (through 2026 on PGA TOUR for non-members).
Who's in action?
Jacob Skov Olesen, who qualified for his first Major as a professional earlier this month, is among those making the trip stateside for the ISCO Championship before he returns to the United Kingdom for The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush.
At 33rd in the Race to Dubai Rankings, England's Marcus Armitage is the best-placed DP World Tour performer in action.
Among others targeting Race to Dubai Rankings and Closing Swing points are India's Shubhankar Sharma, Italy's Andrea Pavan and fellow DP World Tour winner Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand.
Young Spanish talent Angel Ayora, who has impressed in his rookie season, is joined by several HotelPlanner Tour graduates, including Denamrk's Hamish Brown and Brandon Robinson Thompson.
China's Wenyi Ding, winner of the inaugural Global Amateur Pathway last year, is another emerging talent hoping to impress in America.
Among the notable names bidding for a PGA TOUR victory are Argentina's Emiliano Grillo, Canada's Adam Hadwin and England's David Skinns.

A week later, Tahoe Mt. Club in Truckee, California will stage the Barracuda Championship, which uses a Modified Stableford scoring system and was won by Nick Dunlap last season.
Denmark's 2023 Ryder Cup winner Nicolai Højgaard is the standout name in the field, while a host of other DP World Tour winners including recent first-time champions Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Jacques Kruyswuijk are set to be in the field.
