The field for the event will comprise:
(a) Members of last named Ryder Cup Teams and Presidents Cup teams.
(b) Those players ranked in the top 50 (and those tied for 50th) on the official World Golf ranking as of Monday, August 19 2002.
(c) Winners of all tournaments with 100 or more event rating points calculated by the Official World Golf rankings during the previous 12month period.
(d) The winner of one selected event during the previous 12 month period from the Australasian Tour, Southern Africa Tour, Asian Tour and the Japan Golf Tour.
NB: Eligibility cut off for (c) & (d) above is at those events concluding on Sunday 18th August 2002.
