The field for the event will be 156 players comprising:
a) 10 Scottish professionals as determined by the Scottish PGA.
b) A maximum of 2 amateurs.
c) 8 sponsor invitations.
d) The balance of the field will be completed in accordance with the 2003 European Tour Exemption Category List.
