The field of 132 players for the BMW Asian Open will comprise:
(a) The top 60 from the 2002 PGA European Tour Category Ranking List
(b) The top 60 from the 2000 Asian PGA Order of Merit list
(c) 12 Sponsor's Invitations
Entries will close for the PGA European Tour on November 8.
Note:
The 2001 European Tour Qualifying School does not conclude until Monday, November 19. If the entry cut-off for (a) above is within Category 11 (the top 35 and ties from the 2001 Qualifying School), blank entries will be made on behalf of those players qualifying in this category.
