Entry Eligibility

The following will qualify to play in the Victor Chandler British Masters:

1. Winners of the Open Championship for the last 10 years (1991-2000)

1. The current United States Masters Champion

1. The current United States Open Champion

1. The current United States PGA Champion

1. The current Japan Open Champion

1. The current Cisco World Match Play Champion

1. The 2000 British Masters Champion

1. Winners of Volvo Order of Merit tournaments, decided during the period 30th May 2000-30th May 2001.

1. Playing Members of the 1999 European Ryder Cup Team

1. The leader of the 2000 PGA Tour of Japan Order of Merit

1. The leader of the 2000/2001 PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit

1. The leader of the 2000 Asian PGA Tour Order of Merit

1. The leader of the 2000/2001 Southern Africa PGA Tour Order of Merit.

1. Any 8 players nominated by the Sponsors in agreement with the PGA European Tour

1. The balance of the field will be completed in accordance with the PGA European Tour Exemption Category List.
