Entry Eligibility for the Dubai Desert Classic.
(a) The leading two players from the 2000 Asian PGA Order of Merit.
(b) The leading available and not otherwise exempt player, in accordance with the 2000 Asian PGA Order of Merit, from the following countries: Peoples Republic of China, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand.
(c) The leading professional from a qualification event organised by the UAE Golf Association.
(d) The balance of the field in accordance with the PGA European Tour Exemption Category List.
