Martin Erlandsson moved into the early clubhouse lead in the Portugal Masters at Oceanico Victoria Golf Club after a fine second round 68.
It moved the Swede to 12 under par 132 and one shot clear of South Africa's Charl Schwartzel, who carded a second round 67.
"Overall I'm very happy," he said. "I'm striking the ball very well and my putting is getting better and better so I'm hoping to keep that rhythm over the weekend."
