After Belgium played host to the Swing-opening Soudal Open, the DP World Tour makes its first of two stops this season in Germany at Green Eagle Golf Courses.
Tom McKibbin returns to Hamburg for his first DP World Tour title defence, while Danny Willett brings Major appeal to the event having made the cut on his return to tournament golf at last month’s Masters Tournament following reconstructive shoulder surgery.
Japanese pair Keita Nakajima and Yuto Katsuragawa are joined by Jesper Svensson, a fellow winner on the Race to Dubai schedule so far this season.
Rasmus Højgaard makes his first appearance in Europe this season, while Marcel Siem continues his injury return as he spearheads a strong German challenge.

Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.
Favourite - Rasmus Højgaard
After narrowly missing out on earning Dual Membership on the PGA TOUR at the end of last season, the Dane has produced a series of fine performances on the DP World Tour to come into the week lying comfortably inside the top 20 on the Race to Dubai Rankings in Partnership with Rolex.
A run of finishing no worse than a tie for 11th in his first five starts of the year ensured he qualified for the US PGA Championship, making the cut alongside his brother Nicolai at Valhalla Golf Club earlier this month.
Ranked in the top 20 on Tour so far this season for driving distance, the Dane is likely to be at an advantage on a course that is the longest on the schedule with five par fives measuring more than 600 yards.
Factor in his impressive putting statistics, which see him in the top five for both Putts Per Gir and Average Putts Per Round, and it would be no surprise to see him improve on his record at this week's venue and mount a challenge for his fifth DP World Tour title.
Form Horse - Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen
From one Dane to another, our focus turns to a player who we should expect to see playing week in week out next season on the DP World Tour.
With two victories already so far on the European Challenge Tour's Road to Mallorca, Neergaard-Petersen sits atop their season-long rankings and makes the trip to Germany for what is his first appearance at the European Open.
Since winning the Kolkata Challenge, the 24-year-old has finished in a tie for seventh in his subsequent four starts and rose to a career-high 159th in the Official World Golf Ranking earlier this month.
Already just one Challenge Tour victory away from earning immediate promotion to the DP World Tour for the rest of the season, Scandinavia's latest talent to emerge will hope to continue his impressive run of form in Germany.
Wild Card - David Law
The test posed by the North Course at Green Eagle is widely highlighted on a yearly basis, with many leading European players describing it as the toughest but the Scot is one player who has a record over recent years that many would envy.
In two of his three starts at the venue, he has finished in the top ten and his form in Europe last season proved influential in him retaining his full DP World Tour status for this year.
So far this year, results have proven harder to come by and he missed his ninth cut of the campaign at the Soudal Open in Belgium.

Looking back – Soudal Open
The Soudal Open, the opening event of the European Swing, saw Nacho Elvira claim his second DP World Tour title in Belgium.
A par on the final hole of a dramatic final round saw him hold off the chasing pack and win by one shot at Rinkven International Golf Club.
With just over 5% of Fantasy users picking the Spaniard in their team, the Spaniard proved a surprise winner.
Fantasy Insight:As it stands, Romain Langasque is the favourite among players of our Fantasy Game this week, featuring in 48% of teams. Other popular players include Sam Bairstow (34%) and Rasmus Højgaard (33%).
Nacho Elvira, who won his second DP World Tour title at last week’s Soudal Open, is the fourth most picked player from those in the field, featuring in 31% of Fantasy teams.
