The Spaniard was a member of Europe’s winning Ryder Cup side in 1997 but the 37 year old has not won on The European Tour since the 2003 Volvo PGA Championship.

But by picking up a shot on the 431 yard par four Garrido joined Webster on 11 under par as he looks for a third European Tour International Schedule victory in his 400th event.

Webster, also seeking a third European Tour title after two runner-up finishes so far this year, parred his two opening holes.

Closing in on the final pair were Qualifying School winner Oskar Henningsson and South African Open Championship runner-up Gareth Maybin.

Both picked up shots early in their final round to reach ten under, a shot off the lead.
