Jbe Kruger landed six birdies over the Hong Kong GC back nine on his way to a second round 66, to lead by one at the half way stage. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 27 year old South African has been superb from tee to green, ranking 7th for Driving Acuracy (with 22/28 fairways), 3rd for Driving Distance (with a huge 322 yard average) and 1st for Greens in Regulation (with a fantastic 34/36 greens). After missing ten straight cuts on the European Tour at the end of the 2013 Season, Jbe bounced back with a tremendous second place finish in South Africa at the first event of the 2014 season (just a few weeks ago), and he now has a great opportunity to go one better than that and claim his second European Tour title here come Sunday afternoon.

Stuart MANLEY -6
Stuart Manley converted six birdies against three bogeys on his way to a second round 67, just about keeping pace with Kruger going into the weekend. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 34 year old Welsh golfer also looks good from tee to green, ranking 21st for Driving Accuracy and 8th for Greens in Regulation (combined with 4th for Putts per GIR - the combination of which suggests some accurate approach play), plus he has accumulated the most birdies out of all the players so far (13 in total). Stuart regained his European Tour card through the recent Qualifying School, so he will no doubt be hoping for a big finish here to get his 2014 season up and running.
