Richard Sterne continues to hold the lead following a day of tougher scoring conditions. At the half way point he has made more birdies than any other player (14) and his Genworth Tournament Statistics show that there are no real weaknesses in his game. He is driving the ball well, hitting lots of greens and putting great.
Thorbjørn Olesen is one of three players not to have dropped a single shot so far this week. After two rounds he leads the Par 3 Scoring with a 2.38 average and he has Scrambled 9/9. The only real weakness in comparison to the other leaders is his Driving Accuracy. If he can improve that over the weekend he may be presented with more birdie opportunities on the Par 5’s.

Like Thorbjørn Olesen, Tommy Fleetwood has not dropped a single shot so far this week. Tommy is however driving the ball long and straight and is scoring heavily on the Par 5’s. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the most impressive result is 10/10 in Scrambles.
After two rounds Stephen Gallacher remains well placed one back. He continues to lead the Par 4 Scoring statistic and ranks 2nd for Putts per Round. A little improvement may however be needed on the Par 5’s through “moving day” tomorrow.
