Genworth Stats Pack - Summary Report

Victor Dubuisson converted four birdies against one bogey on his way to a final round 69, to emerge as the winner over The Montgomerie Maxx Royal by two shots. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 23 year old French talent ranked down in 52nd for Driving Accuracy (with 28/52 fairways), but with some long driving and the less penal rough he still managed to rank up in 4th for Greens in Regulation (with 62/72 greens) as well as 2nd for Scrambles (with 8/10 up and downs for Par). We should also highlight that Victor accumulated the most birdies (28 in total alongside Donaldson) and he ranked 2nd for Par 5 Scoring with a 4.30 average. With this first European Tour title, he climbs up to 9th on the Race to Dubai as well as to the top of the Ryder Cup European Points list.

Jamie Donaldson converted eight birdies together with a hole-in-one on his way to a final round 63 (the low round of the day), to take the runner-up spot. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 38 year old Welsh golfer ranked high for Greens in Regulation and also for each of the putting categories, but he ranked lower for Scrambles and Sand Saves (this type of pattern is often produced by a few too many short-sided chip shots, as a result of an aggressive strategy). Much the same as Dubuisson, Jamie also accumulated the most birdies and he ranked 1st for Par 5 Scoring with a 4.25 average (note the top two also ranked 1st and 2nd for Par 5 Scoring). With this result, the two-time European Tour winner climbs to 5th on the Race to Dubai and 4th on the Ryder Cup European Points list.

Justin Rose converted one eagle and seven birdies against two bogeys on his way to a final round 65, to finish third alongside the World Number One. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 33 year old English golfer was excellent from tee to green, ranking 4th for Driving Accuracy, 16th for Driving Distance and 9th for Greens in Regulation, plus he topped the Par 4 Scoring with a tremendous 3.66 average. With this result, the six-time European Tour winner climbs to 2nd on the Race to Dubai, within striking distance of Stenson going into the final event next week.

Tiger Woods converted seven birdies against two bogeys on his way to a final round 67, to join Rose in third position at the finish. Unfortunately not all of his Genworth Statistics data was available at the time of this report, but we can confirm that over rounds 3 and 4, the 37 year old megastar from the United States hit 10/26 fairways and 27/36 Greens in Regulation, plus he took just 53 putts in total for the weekend (only Wiesberger and Jacquelin managed fewer). It is always a great treat to see the World Number One competing on the European Tour.
