Kiradech Aphibarnrat will take a one shot lead into the final round of the KLM Open, but a host of players are hot on the heels of the Thai star at The Dutch.

“I’m delighted, I played very good today. I just tried to play my own game and I made some good putts which is what I did. That was my lowest round of the season and it has come at a good time because I need to start getting some good results.”
Joel Stalter (69, -12)
“It was a tougher day today – I think there is always more pressure on a Saturday and the pins were tougher today and I didn’t hit my irons as well as yesterday. But it wasn’t a disaster and I still played pretty solid so I am happy overall and still have a great chance to win. The last time I was in that position (leading going into the weekend) in Munich at the start of the summer I didn’t play well so today was a big improvement and, as I said before, I still have a great chance to win tomorrow and I’ll give it my best shot to try and do that.”
Lee Westwood (67, -11)
“I made a pretty slow start today – I three-putted the fifth for bogey but managed to make a birdie straight away on the sixth and from there I really just started chipping away and trying to get back into it which I managed to do, thankfully. I played nicely again and am very happy with how I am striking the ball. I just need a few more putts to drop tomorrow. It was nice to birdie the last and get closer to the leaders and it was nice to give the crowd something to cheer. They’ve been brilliant this week, as they always are in Holland, but given the conditions this week you have to salute the fans. I haven’t been in contention for a while really so it feels pretty good to be up there going into the final round. I’m sure I’ll remember what to do when the time comes."
