The Welshman sits on 33,606 points after he birdied the 18th hole to finish one shot clear of Scotland’s Ewen Ferguson to claim his third Challenge Tour title, three years after he last won in June 2018 at the Hauts de France Golf Open.

Still sitting in pole position on the Road to Mallorca Rankings is the consistent Santiago Tarrio who has a total of 110,993 points after being in the top 20 at his last six events, including two victories at the D+D REAL Czech Challenge and the Challenge de España.

Closely following the Spaniard is Marcel Siem, who earned a place in The 149th Open Championship and his determination earned him a tie for 15th place at Royal St George’s. Prior to his appearance at the Major Championship, the German won at Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge to claim his maiden European Challenge Tour title and the 41-year-old now sits on 74,577 points.

Frenchman and winner of the Open de Bretagne Julien Brun sits in third spot on 69,330 whilst Scotsman Ewen Ferguson sits in fourth position on 60,593 points after a solid first half of the season, with four top five finishes but is still searching for his maiden Challenge Tour title.
