Here is everything you need to know from the second day at Son Muntaner Golf Club.
Whitnell equals course record
Not only did Dale Whitnell's sparkling 63 take him to the top of the leaderboard on Friday, it also earned the Englishman a share of the course record which had been set by Marcus Armitage in the first round. Whitnell produced a brilliant burst of scoring on the back nine, adding an eagle and three birdies to the three shots he had picked up on the front side, to get to 11 under par.
Smooth sailing for Von Dellingshausen
Nicolai von Dellingshausen had more than one reason to celebrate when he holed his second shot from the fairway on the par-four ninth. As well as securing an eagle, he earned himself a weekend Yacht Charter in Mallorca or Ibiza worth €15,000. His second-round 66 took him into the weekend on five under par.
Mr Fox's fantastic eagle
Von Dellingshausen wasn't the only one holing out for eagle. Ryan Fox achieved the feat at the par-four third with this absolute beauty...
