We take a look in the bag of Hainan Classic winner Marco Penge.
With his maiden DP World Tour title now achieved in China, the Englishman can play with freedom in the knowledge he is exempt on Golf’s Global Tour until the end of the 2026 season.
After the nerve-shredding pressure of requiring a performance at the Genesis Championship in South Korea in October to retain his full playing privileges, Penge made some changes to his bag ahead of his second campaign on the DP World Tour.
Starting at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, the 2023 HotelPlanner Tour Number One switched from Mizuno Pro 243s to a set of Mizuno Pro S-3s.
He has since only made one subsequent club change, switching from the TaylorMade Qi10 Tour three wood with 16.5 degrees of loft and bringing in a 15-degree Mizuno ST-Max 230.
Otherwise, since missing the cut in his season-opening appearance in Australia he has brought in the 2025 Titleist Pro V1 ball for the Titleist Pro V1 Left dot.
Over his 30 rounds on the 2025 Race to Dubai, he ranks fifth for stroke average on Tour.
He is also fourth for Strokes Gained: Putting at the completion of the Asian Swing, finishing third in the rankings on the third of five Global Swings to seal his place at next month’s US PGA Championship.
