The three-time DP World Tour winner will first tee it up in the BMW Australian PGA Championship at The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney from November 26-29, before heading to Melbourne for the Capital.com Australian Open at Kingston Heath Golf Club the week after.

Lee, a member of the International Team at the recent President’s Cup, will be chasing further success down under, having claimed the Joe Kirkwood Cup in the 2023 edition of the Australian PGA Championship at Royal Queensland Golf Club. The memorable three-shot victory represents one of five worldwide wins, with the 2020 ISPS Handa Vic Open being another.

The 28-year-old has since established himself among the game's elite; he reached the FedexCup finale on the PGA Tour for the first time this year, finishing equal fourth at the Tour Championship. It followed on from three top-three finishes earlier in the season, including a runner-up at the DP World Tour co-sanctioned Genesis Scottish Open, an event he won in 2021.

The World Number 31 will hope to capitalise on his recent form and kick start his 2027 campaign in style.

“I’m pumped to be coming back for the BMW Australian PGA in Sydney. It’s a tournament I’ve got some great memories from, and there’s nothing better than playing in front of the home fans,” said Lee.

“I’m sure that Sydney will really embrace us. There’s a really good vibe around the Summer of Golf, and I’m looking forward to getting out there and putting on a good show.”

Lee will then set his sights on the Stonehaven Cup, arriving with the chance to turn previous near-misses into a career-defining victory on Melbourne’s famed Sandbelt.

He registered a top-three finish in both the 2023 and 2024 editions and now joins 2026 Major winners Rory McIlory and Ryan Fox in pursuit of the Capital.com Australian Open title.

“The Australian Open is a big one for us Aussies, and winning the Stonehaven Cup is something every Australian golfer dreams about, especially on a Sandbelt course,” said Lee.

“I’ve come close a few times, so hopefully this can be the year I get it done. It’s definitely one of the tournaments I really want to win.

“The crowds have been amazing the last few years, and it’s pretty special to have so many people out there cheering you on. Playing at home gives you that little bit of extra motivation, and I’d love to give the fans something to celebrate on Sunday.

“The game’s been solid this year, with some great results. I’ve just been missing that win, so hopefully I can get hot at Kingston Heath and give myself a chance.”

The two events are co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia and mark an exciting fortnight of golf to open the DP World Tour’s 2027 season.
