Thorbjørn Olesen extended his healthy overnight advantage as he remained on track for a second European Tour title at the ISPS HANDA Perth International.
The 24 year old Dane had established a three shot lead on Saturday with a third round 67, and by turning in a one under par 35 Olesen moved four clear on 17 under.
The World Number 130, whose previous success came in Sicily two years ago, birdied the two par fives on the way out – the third and seventh – with his only dropped shot coming at the sixth.
Italy’s Andrea Pavan and English duo Mark Foster and James Morrison were his nearest challengers, and the former was set for a successful week even if he couldn’t catch Olesen.
Five birdies in his first 12 holes meant last year’s Challenge Tour Number One looked on course for the top-six finish he needed to move into the top 111 on The Race to Dubai in order to keep his card.
