Travel, Parking & Accessibility to the 2022 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club

The 2022 BMW PGA Championship will take place at Wentworth Club from 6-11 September.

A world-class field including Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Matt Fitzpatrick, Billy Horschel, Tyrrell Hatton and Danny Willett are set to tee it up on The West Course.

Please see the directions from Central London to Wentworth Club. Further down please read the parking and travel information that will help you plan your day.

Please note that whilst there are bus replacement services running between Barnes, Feltham, and Twickenham via Hounslow, this does not impact the line from London Waterloo, Clapham Junction and other stations to Virginia Water.

TRAVEL BY CAR

Spectators should follow the yellow AA event signage which will direct you to the off-site park and ride car parks for transfer to the BMW PGA Championship.

There will be no access to the Wentworth Estate for spectators’ vehicles, except those with valid car park labels and BMW Owners. There is no pre-paid parking on site.

Premium Experience Ticket Holders are required to follow the yellow AA signage for VIP Pick Up & Drop Off. This is a different entrance from previous years and access to the site will only be permitted via authorised gate. Premium Experience tickets will be checked at the gate.

BMW Owners, official badge holders:

BMW Owners, official badge holders will be able to park on site as in previous years. If you are travelling in a BMW Group vehicle (BMW, MINI or Rolls-Royce) you do not need a car park label, just follow the event signage to the BMW Owners’ car park/car park 7 for free parking.

PARK & RIDE

Free Park & Ride for all spectators

All ticket holders can use the free park and ride service, which will drop you off at the entrance to the BMW PGA Championship. Please follow your sat-nav until you pick up the AA event signage, which will direct you to the relevant park and ride.

Please note Ascot Park & Ride is closed on Tuesday 6th September.

Sunningdale park and ride

Open Tuesday 6 – Sunday 11 September

Located at Broomhall Farm, Sunningdale, SL5 0HD. This will be for spectators travelling from the SOUTH and EAST (M3, A30, M25 south and east)

Ascot park and ride

Open Wednesday 7 – Sunday 11 September

Located next to Royal Ascot Racecourse, Ascot SL5 7JX

This will be for spectators travelling from the NORTH and WEST (M4, M25 north and west, London).

Virginia Water Shuttle Bus

Open Tuesday 6 – Sunday 11 September

Virginia Water Station is a five-minute bus ride from the BMW PGA Championship and a free shuttle will run on a continuous loop.

Virginia Water is within easy, direct reach of London Waterloo, Clapham Junction, Reading, Woking and Weybridge.

COACHES

On Tuesday 6 September please proceed to Sunningdale park and ride. Otherwise from Wednesday 7 to Sunday 11 September all coaches should follow the AA signage to Ascot park and ride.

There is no coach parking at Wentworth Golf Club.

TAXI/UBERS

Taxi and Uber drop off and collection will be at both Sunningdale and Ascot public park and ride parks only. There is strictly no Taxi/Uber drop off at Wentworth Golf Club for General ticket holders.

ACCESSIBILITY
Personal Assistants

If you need a personal assistant to attend an event with you, the European Tour Group offers a complimentary carer ticket to customers with disability who have purchased a ticket. To request a carers ticket please ticketing@europeantourgroup.com

Proof of eligibility is required.

Are wheelchairs allowed on site at the Championship?

Wheelchairs and other motorised chairs are allowed on the tournament grounds however we encourage you to use Event Mobility should you require to use them. Golf carts are not permitted.

A dedicated wheelchair viewing area, will be positioned beside the 18th and beside the 1st tee.

Accessible toilet facilities are located at the public catering areas by the 1st of the East course, 14th and Championship Village. Wheelchair ramps are provided in all public amenities in the Championship Village.

Event Mobility Charitable Incorporated Organisation

Event Mobility will be providing a number of electric scooters (£30) and manual wheelchairs (£10) for hire by the elderly or disabled. The facility is located in Car Park 4 (Accessible Car Park available here and must be pre-booked) with attendants on hand to show you how to use the vehicles. Car Parking: Designated parking for Blue Badge holders is located at the front of the public park & ride car park and all park & ride coaches are wheelchair accessible.

BLUE BADGE HOLDERS

There will be dedicated spaces at both park and ride car parks for spectators whose vehicles display a blue badge. Wheelchair users should email ticketing@europeantourgroup.com for further arrangements
