The top 20 on the Road to Mallorca at the end of the season all earn promotion to the DP World Tour

The 2024 DP World Tour schedule will feature a minimum of 44 tournaments in 24 countries and across five continents.

With players from 34 different countries exempt on the DP World Tour in 2023, the pathway system is important in defining clear routes to reach the highest levels of the men’s professional game.

Here’s a look at the different pathways in effect for the 2024 season.

· The top 20 from the European Challenge Tour’s Road to Mallorca Rankings

· Spots for the leading player from a number of our Strategic alliance Tours i.e. PGA TOUR of Australia, Sunshine Tour, China Golf Association, Korea Professional Golf Association, Japan Golf Tour Organisation and Professional Golf Tour of India

The Qualifying School offers the following exemptions to compete on the DP World Tour:

The leading 25 players and ties at the Final Stage are eligible for DP World Tour Cat 17 + Challenge Tour Cat 5

Players making the cut at Final Stage but finishing below 25th position are eligible for DP World Tour Cat 21 + Challenge Tour Cat 8

The players who miss the cut at Final Stage are eligible for Challenge Tour Cat 15

*Category numbers for 2024 have yet to be confirmed and are therefore based on the numbers for 2023.

The following categories will have a conditional card with access defined by the number of entries above them and as such are also granted dual membership of the European Challenge Tour to provide access in those weeks when they do not get to play on the DP World Tour.
