While there may still be the Investec South African Open Championship and next week's Joburg Open to come in the second of five Global Swings on the Race to Dubai schedule, the American holds an unassailable 1,025-point lead in the rankings with a maximum of 1,000 to be won.

An ever-present during the Tour's opening four events of the Swing in the Middle East, Reed won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and Qatar Masters - either side of a runner-up finish at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship.

Having begun his year in the Middle East at the Dubai Invitational, where he finished 26th,  the 35-year-old has risen inside the top 20 in the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time in five years.

As the Swing champion, he qualifes for each of the Back 9 events - the second phase of the Race to Dubai schedule - and earns a US$200,000 bonus.

An Honorary Life Member of the DP World Tour since 2019, Reed leads the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World and he will hope to extend his advantage across the upcoming South African double-header.
