Play in the third round of the North West of Ireland Open is due to re-start at 4.45pm (3.45 GMT) after a three hour suspension as high winds, gusting at over 40 miles per hour, swept across the Glashedy Links at Ballyliffin Golf Club.
Play was initially suspended for one and a half hours at 9.00am (8.00 GMT) with only nine groups able to start their third rounds. When players returned to the course another three hours of play was completed before proceedings were again suspended at 13.40pm (12.40 GMT). Three groups, including the leader Costantino Rocca, have yet to start the third round.
