Due to the volume of entries, pre-qualifying rounds for the Mercedes-Benz - SA Open were played over two courses, Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club, and Roodepoort Golf Club.
A total of 308 professionals and amateurs were competing for a total of 23 spots in the tournament that starts Thursday at Randpark Golf Club.
The Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club had 11 spots and the Roodepoort Golf Club had 12. The successful pre-qualifiers are listed below.
