Raiffeisenbank Golf Challenge: Three to Watch

The Raiffeisenbank Golf Challenge takes centre stage on the Road to Mallorca as the HotelPlanner Tour returns to Golf Resort Kaskáda for a fifth straight year. Here are three players to keep an eye on…

Form horse: Félix Mory

Felix Mory

Frenchman Félix Mory will tee it up in Brno fresh off landing a second HotelPlanner Tour title at last week’s Swiss Challenge, after coming through a play-off against Spaniard Santiago Tarrio at Golf Sempach.

Mory, who now sits sixth on the Road to Mallorca Rankings following that win, also has a promising record at this week’s venue. The 30-year-old’s top 20 finish 12 months ago followed a tied ninth in 2023, where Mory made 18 birdies and one eagle during the week. Given his recent form and previous performances at Kaskáda, the Frenchman stands every chance of going back-to-back in the Czech Republic.

Local boy: Filip Mruzek

Filip Mruzek

Czech Filip Mruzek heads into his home HotelPlanner Tour event in confident mood despite only making two previous appearances so far in 2025. The 33-year-old captured a maiden professional victory at the Red Sea Egyptian Classic on the Pro Golf Tour back in March, before making his first HotelPlanner Tour start of the season at the Danish Golf Challenge.

Rounds of 67-69-69 moved Mruzek to 11 under par heading into the final round at Bogense Golf Club, six shots back of pacesetter Calum Fyfe, before going on to end the week inside the top 15. Mruzek made a second successive cut at last week’s Swiss Challenge and will be looking to build further momentum on home soil.

Outsider: Lorenzo Scalise

Scalise

Italian Lorenzo Scalise arrives at the Raiffeisenbank Golf Challenge 73rd on the Road to Mallorca Rankings, looking to recreate his three-shot victory from two years ago. The 29-year-old fired rounds of 64-68-70-70 to seal his maiden professional win, finishing ahead of Spaniard Manuel Elvira and German John Allen.

Back on a course which holds fond memories and with two top 20 finishes in his last four HotelPlanner Tour starts, Scalise is beginning to trend in the right direction and could be one to watch as he seeks an immediate return to the DP World Tour.
