Peter Teravainen recorded his maiden victory on the Volvo Tour after a year of injury. A tussle for the lead materialised between Teravainen and third round leaders Howard Clark and Ronan Rafferty, but the American's five birdie and one bogey round of 67 proved to be enough for a one shot advantage and the Czech title. "I had completely lost my confidence because with the injury to my shins I was unable to use my legs in the swing," said Teravainen. "But now it's got to be my best year ever and it's great to win for the first time on the Volvo Tour.
