Charl Schwartzel opened up a two shot lead during the second round of the Alfred Dunhill Championship.
Defending champion Schwartzel began day two in a tie for the lead alongside Irishman Paul Dunne on six under after posting a bogey-free 66 on Thursday.
Starting at the tenth tee on Friday, Schwartzel fired back-to-back birdies at the 12th and 13th to claim the outright lead.
The South African, who has won this event four times, finished his front nine with a gain at the long 18th before picking up another shot at the first to move to ten under.
Frenchman Benjamin Hebert was two strokes behind Schwartzel on eight under after notching six birdies in his first 11 holes.
