The debut of Made in Denmark on The European Tour’s Race to Dubai last month proved a huge success, and organisers are capitalising on that momentum with strong ticket sales already reported for the 2015 tournament.
More than 82,000 spectators flocked to Himmerland Golf Club as Scotland’s Marc Warren captured the title, with home favourites Thomas Björn and Thorbjørn Olesen also in contention.
Next year’s event, from August 20-23, already looks like being just as popular, with 2,155 season tickets sold in the first five days of going on sale.
Promoter Flemming Astrup said: “We had fantastic support from the fans this year, and the atmosphere they created at Himmerland was simply unique. I’m sure that everyone wants to experience that again, and therefore they are getting their tickets now, while they are at a special rate.”
Season tickets are being sold at with an “Early Bird” discount, priced at only 400 DKR (€54) until the October 7. The normal price is 700 DKR (€94).
