Olympic gold medal winning Chinese swimmer Luo Xuejuan visited the ISPS Handa Perth International today and met up with Sunshine, the Koala from Caversham Wildlife Park.
Luo was among the spectators during today's second round at Lake Karrinyup Country Club, taking part in a golf clinic with South African Charl Schwartzel and American Jason Dufner before the surprise visit from Sunshine.
Luo won gold in 100m breaststroke at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. She now works with China’s national swimming team as an ambassador and commercial liaison. This is her first visit to Western Australia since the early 2000s when she came to compete in international swimming events.
