Everything you need to know from round two at Royal Portrush Golf Club.
The world's best player made his way to the top of the leaderboard while there were big moves from other stars on day two of The 153rd Open.
Here is everything you need to know from round two at Royal Portrush Golf Club.
World Number One Scheffler rises to the top
Scottie Scheffler produced the lowest round of the week so far on Friday, shooting a seven-under-par 64 to storm to the top of the leaderboard on ten under. But the World Number One has fellow Major Champion Matt Fitzpatrick breathing down his neck one shot behind him after the Englishman posted a 66 that contained four successive birdies at the start of the back nine as the afternoon rain poured down in County Antrim. We're in for an exciting weekend.
Fleetwood enjoys playing alongside home hero McIlroy
Tommy Fleetwood spent the first two rounds in the company of his Ryder Cup team-mate Rory McIlroy and relished the experience of witnessing the love the bumper crowds gave the local favourite. He posted on X: "Privilege to play in front of the home crowds the last two days with their hero. Better day today for me and looking forward to a big push this weekend!"

Li plays lovely chip...from the green
Although Haotong Li found the green with his tee-shot at the short 13th, his best option was to chip rather than putt. And he did a brilliant job of it, saving par with ease...

MacIntyre's magnificent move
Robert MacIntyre shot a second-round 66, featuring six birdies and a bogey, to propel himself from level par to five under and within striking distance of the lead heading into the weekend. He said: "I'm in a good spot. I feel happy, confident, comfortable. I’m going to go out and give it my best shot all the way through Sunday afternoon."
Roars for Rasmus at the 18th
Rasmus Højgaard judged his long birdie putt to perfection at the 18th to earn the approval of the huge crowds there. Check this out...
