The Legends Tour is here…

The Legends Tour was launched at The European Tour’s headquarters at Wentworth Club in 2020, with former Ryder Cup Captains, Mark James, Tom Lehman, Paul McGinley and Ian Woosnam along with 2005 U.S. Open Champion Michael Campbell and 1999 Open Champion Paul Lawrie named as the Tour’s first official ambassadors who will play a key role in implementing the Tour’s schedule in the months to come.

A golf club with rich history…
The Trevose Golf & Country Club land can be dated back over many centuries, and it was an amateur architect by the name of Dr. Penrose Williams who took it upon himself to purchase the land in the early 1920s. In 1925, Williams and world-renowned golf course architect Harry S. Colt collaborated to design The Championship Course, which officially opened for play later that year.
The golf course has now been part of the same family for many years after John C. Gammon purchased Trevose Golf & Country Club from Dr. Williams in 1955 and still to this day the club is run by the Gammon family.
Situated on the North Cornish Coastline, it is thought to be one of the most remarkable links locations in the United Kingdom. From the staggering views at the top of the sand dunes, to the noise of the Atlantic Ocean crashing against the bedrock of the vast coastline, this golf course will give the players a true test of links golf.
No two days are the same…
Trevose Golf & Country Club is a stern test of golf for anyone, especially because the weather could be completely different from one day to the next. Due to it hugging the Cornish coastline, this can mean high winds are almost inevitable which will give the players another element to take into consideration. With the front nine holes being close to the coastline and sand dunes, and the back nine being more inland as you head towards the clubhouse, the course offers challenging holes in all regards.
A long wait is over…
