The rain has cleared and title holder Colin Montgomerie has begun his semi-final match against Masters Champion Vijay Singh.
Montgomerie has a good record at Wentworth and believes he is one up, whether in matchplay or strokeplay, every time he sets foot on the first tee of the Burma Road course.
No doubt it will be an exciting match but Montgomerie seems to have peaked in time for this Championship while Singh, although on good form, is still suffering slightly from a boating injury picked up earlier in the summer.
Lee Westwood meets Ernie Els after a brilliant performance in the second round. But the 'Big Easy' South African is looking for his fourth World Match Play Title while Westwood has yet to reach the final.
The players hope to cover the first 18 holes this afternoon but these matches will be completed tomorrow postponing the final until Monday.
